IMDb India Top 2022

The IMDb Top 10 list honours the 10 most popular movies and web series of the year gone by. 2022 was the first year IMDb decided to bring this list to India and honour some of the biggest names in the Indian film and OTT world.

They approached us with a brief to create a trophy which was not a trophy in the conventional sense since the recognition itself wasn’t an award but more a testament of the winners’ popularity amongst fans and avid consumers of filmed entertainment. The objective was to increase brand awareness and visibility and to make sure the trophy stands out distinctly on a trophy wall. After sharing a few options, what was narrowed down was a seemingly simple iteration of the IMDb letters, but with smart detailing visible on a closer look. The universally recognised IMDb letters were stacked in three layers and formed the most prominent part of the trophy in the eye-catching brand yellow. The winners’ names was proudly proclaimed in gold letters on the

matt black base.
